A Place Worth Visiting

Visiting Coastal Cats & Critters is a chance to step into the peaceful rhythm of sanctuary life. Our 19 acres on the Alabama coast are home to senior cats, FELV‑positive residents, feral-born companions, and medically complex animals who now live safe, comfortable lives surrounded by nature. When you visit, you’ll meet the cats who call this place home, learn their stories, and see firsthand how lifelong care, enrichment, and compassion shape every part of our day.

We welcome families, volunteers, supporters, and anyone who wants to understand the heart behind our mission. Tours are gentle, educational, and designed to give you a close look at how we provide lifelong sanctuary care, support TNR and outreach, and build community through education and compassion.

Because many of our residents are immunocompromised or medically fragile, visits are scheduled with care. We’ll guide you through the spaces where cats can safely interact with visitors, share how we protect their health, and help you connect with the sanctuary in a way that honors their needs.

Whether you’re here to learn, to support, or simply to experience the peace of a place built on love, your visit becomes part of the story we’re writing every day — one of dignity, safety, and second chances.
